John is Group Operations Director of Thuthuka Group Ltd, a multi-disciplinary project engineering and finance business specialising in the water, waste, air pollution, mining and energy industries.
John joined Thuthuka Group from Cybercon Engineering, one of the merged entities forming Thuthuka Group Ltd. He started Cybercon in 1993 when he left Syntheta. John was Managing Director of Cybercon which was a multi-disciplinary project engineering company which designed and built chemical plant and related systems and equipment.
Prior to founding Cybercon, John was with Syntheta (Delta G Scientific), where he was Engineering Manager. He joined the company in 1987, at the time when it was commercialised. He was involved in the development of a number of process production plants to manufacture various commercial agricultural and pharmaceutical products. Before joining Syntheta, John was with AECI where he was Senior Development Engineer. There he was responsible for the design, build and project management of all new plant and equipment for the Midlands LLD polyethylene plant in Sasolburg.
John is a registered professional engineer with widely recognised expertise in the design and construction of chemical production plant and equipment.
